In this project I worked with a colleague to develop a unique visualization of social data, with the goal of providing a useful tool to a specific target audience. The outcome was the University Restaurant Insight Finder (URIF), an online visualization tool for exploring the correlation of Yelp and university demographic data.
I did most of the sketching of our ideas, also providing a full storyboard mockup for one of our preliminary designs. I came up with the final design, worked on the graphics, and helped in debugging the tool during development. Finally, I ran a summative evaluation of the system with a group of potential users (university students).
