COMPUTATIONAL THINKING RABBIT ESCAPE

Description

This project explores the idea of using Computational Thinking (CT) concepts, such as abstraction, modeling, and recursion, for elementary school children. RabBit EscApe is a collaborative-competitive board game with wooden blocks equipped with magnets. Players have to combine polarity, orientation, shape, and size to complete a board.

Role

I worked in a group of three to brainstorm and come up with an idea. The concept of the project was mine and also worked on the implementation, cutting the pieces and embedding the magnets in an actual wood lab. We also run an informal evaluation in class with groups of three students. This project was funded with $500.
